Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) is a managed service that you can use to run Kubernetes on AWS without needing to install, operate, and maintain your own Kubernetes control plane or nodes. Amazon EKS runs a single tenant Kubernetes control plane for each cluster. The control plane infrastructure is not shared across clusters or AWS accounts.

AWS treats Regions and Availability Zones as failure domains that must be considered while operating highly accessible infrastructure. If you want your website to stay up even if a single Region is down, you’ll need to distribute it to different Regions. To ensure traffic routing through two or more failure domains, each Region where your application is deployed should run in multiple Availability Zones (AZ). Likewise Jitsi scaling can be achieved by Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) by Creating Kubernetes Auto Scaling Groups for Multiple Availability Zones.

Meetrix can setup Jitsi, Janus, Big Blue button, Freeswtich, Asterix and many more real time communications tools on Amazon EKS for you.
