## What is Coolify?

Coolify is an Apache 2.0, self-hostable platform that brings cloud-style deployment to your own servers. Built on Laravel and Docker, it deploys each app in its own container, with Traefik handling routing and automatic SSL, and it can manage further servers over SSH without vendor lock-in.

- ### Git-based deploys

Built-in CI/CD from GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket.

- ### Apps and static sites

Docker apps, static sites and background workers.

- ### Databases included

PostgreSQL, MySQL and Redis out of the box.

- ### One-click services

A catalogue of 280+ services to deploy in a click.

- ### Secrets and cron

Environment variables, a secrets manager and scheduled jobs.

- ### Automatic SSL

Traefik issues certificates for every app you deploy.

## What's in the Meetrix Coolify AMI

The AMI ships Coolify installed with Docker, so you can start deploying straight after launch.

- Coolify with Docker installed and configured
- The Coolify dashboard ready on launch
- A CloudFormation template for your own AWS account
- Email support from Meetrix at support@meetrix.io

## How to set up a self-hosted Coolify server

1. ### Launch the stack

Subscribe on AWS Marketplace and launch the CloudFormation stack. Allow 5-10 minutes.

2. ### Open the dashboard

Go to the DashboardUrlIp from the stack outputs and set up your Coolify account.

3. ### Connect your Git provider

Link GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket so Coolify can build and deploy your repositories.

4. ### Deploy your first app

Add a project, set its domain and Port Exposes, and deploy. Add databases or one-click services as needed.

## Coolify FAQ

What is Coolify?

A self-hostable platform that gives you cloud-style deployment of apps, databases and services on your own servers, managed over SSH and free of vendor lock-in.

Is Coolify free to self-host?

Yes. The self-hosted version is Apache 2.0 with nothing behind a paywall. On AWS you pay for the instance and any Meetrix software fee shown on the listing.

What can I deploy?

Docker apps, static sites, background workers, PostgreSQL, MySQL and Redis databases, and one-click services, with Git-based CI/CD, secrets and cron jobs.

When should I leave Vercel or Netlify for Coolify?

When bandwidth or per-seat costs grow faster than revenue, or you need long-running processes and databases that do not fit a serverless model. You give up their global edge network.

Why does my app show 502 Bad Gateway?

Usually Port Exposes does not match the port your app listens on, or the app is bound to 127.0.0.1 instead of 0.0.0.0.

Do I need Kubernetes?

No. Coolify runs on plain Docker, and a single server is enough.

Which instance size should I choose?

t3.medium is the recommended starting point. Size up for more or heavier apps.

How do I upgrade?

Back up your server data, remove the old stack and launch the new version from AWS Marketplace.
